Training Transformation Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational Mission
Essential Tasks (TIM2) Task Force Convening Conference
Date: May 25 - 27, 2004
Summary: Intent is to provide the means for all agencies to coordinate
and share information and training for the purpose of being interoperable. This
conference will facilitate the following:
- Assemble the proper participants to represent the views and processes of the agencies,
organizations, and commands that collectively respond to the nation's security challenges
across the full spectrum of operations
- Provide the participants a common level of background and understanding through
a series of presentations and discussions so that participants will have an equal
footing for dialogue and collaborative teamwork
- Begin developing an initial list of essential tasks to be performed to achieve successful
mission accomplishment; this will be conducted for each primary operational category
- interagency, intergovernmental, and multinational
- Identify issues to be overcome and potential source for doing so, if beyond the
scope or authority of the assembled participants
- Describe capabilities required to permit successful mission accomplishment
- Develop Working Group plan of action and way ahead schedule for follow-on efforts
and contributions

Conference is for agency/organization planners, operators, and policy makers at
the GS 13 to 15 or Military O-4 to O-6 level
